Phyllis is originally from Chicago, Illinois. Phyllis became a licensed and ordained Evangelist in Chicago in August 1983 and after years of Co-Pastoring, she became a Senior Pastor in 2012. She has also previously worked in The Women's Treatment Center as a "Addiction Counselor" for both women and children. She was also an "Acting Director" of the Family Rescue Center, a battered women’s shelter and residency program In Chicago. In Chicago and Texas, her master’s and undergraduate studies included Psychology, Social Work, Biblical Studies and Urban Systems Anthropological studies. She is currently a non-denominational licensed and ordained pastor and minister in addition to her Earned Doctorate of Divinity.  

For over 35 years, Phyllis Ford has wholeheartedly embraced her calling as a prophetic servant. Guided by God's grace and a passion to uplift others in their pursuit of a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. She has traveled all over the world doing missions, preaching, and teaching God’s word. Even shared the gospel of Jesus Christ with crowds as large as over 10,000 people overseas. Prayer and intercession form the foundation of Phyllis's service, reflecting her deep commitment to spiritual support and guidance. Her travels extend throughout Europe, Central America, South America, and within the continent of Africa. In addition to her counseling, she is actively involved in ministry training in the area of intercession and biblical preparation in regards to Evangelism. She does all this while helping others grow in their spiritual formation.

She has served as a consultant to various ministries throughout the United States and abroad providing both spiritual and practical leadership support through prayer and intercession. Her most recent milestone is marked by furthering her studies such as earning her Doctorate of Divinity. While achieving this she continued serving in diverse communities, and continually seeking a deeper understanding of God’s Word. Through every role, Phyllis remains committed to walking alongside others, championing their growth, and sharing the transformative power of faith.

Phyllis Ford’s unwavering dedication and warm encouragement continue to inspire those she serves. Her ministry journey stands as a beacon of hope, demonstrating that with faith in the Lord, by continuous growth, guidance, and genuine support, transformation and purpose are within reach of everyone.

She currently resides in Mansfield, Texas. She has three sons, Phillip, Tony, and Micah and one daughter Rachael. She enjoys playing Word games, traveling and is involved extensively working with and leading various outreach community groups within the DFW area in Texas. Her current dream is to acquire grants or funding for her "Hope Center" project.
