As we enter 2018 we will realize its seriousness as the year sets the pace and a precedent this is not a time to take lightly. Back in November, there was an urgency about the approaching season and its emphasis to arise and build with radical determination to advance and even to go beyond the borders with great possibilities perceived and understood. I felt the movement of the coming season as I entered in before the Lord. There was an awareness to set aside any and all complacency to prepare, and even create a momentum as we grasp some things that might have appeared to be far off. To seize them with a vigor that was being ignited by the fervor of the Spirit of God.

I began to understand that those that would move in that flow would have an impact as they enter into the year with a strength that could only come from the Lord. While being aware that the earth is in the midst of travail, this coming movement would aid in the bringing forth of the children of God in areas of maturity as new realities are swept in with them. There would have already been those who were pressing into a Fasting, a Praying, and a Seeking mode while waiting before the presence of the Lord for the needed strategies to be positioned.

Key direction will be given in order to grab hold of the required assignments that need to be carried out. This stance of moving into proper alignment for January means everything. I knew this was not a time for us to wait for the year to come upon us but that it would be important to come upon the year with zeal and wisdom. It was not just a time to be ahead of the curve as forerunners, but to literally be the curve and set the pace at the very gate of 2018.

 

The Lord spoke very clearly this scripture:  

Matthew 11:12 (KJV)

"And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force."

​

Along with this ready sense of determination there would also be a resistance. I asked the Lord concerning this resistance that would seem to work cross purposes to the current and flow of God’s will.

​

He pointed out this to me:

2 Timothy 3:1-5 (KJV)

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

I could hear the sound of the army of the Lord, being prepared with a strong and fierce leadership ready to dismantle and set in order the foundations that are not founded upon the word of God.

Matthew 11:12 (NLT)

"And from the time John the Baptist began preaching until now, the Kingdom of Heaven has been forcefully advancing, [a] and violent people are attacking it." 

​

At the same time of this kingdom advancement there will be a present forceful resistance that will reside within the church as well as outside of the church. Their belief systems will not be aligned with the purposes of the Lord. But it is important not to allow the spirit of fear to overtake nor overwhelm us. As there will be things that will occur that we won’t have much control to stop. The Lord will at the same time raise up a people, even a “certain people” who will by their faith and endurance be able to advance having the mind of Christ. They will walk in the power to overcome and even embrace challenges as they happen. They will be armed with a wisdom for the day and the anointing to fight. They will press forward as forerunners, apostolic advancers, entrepreneurs, marketplace administrators, movers, shakers, even radical millennials armed with the truth of the gospel.

Having their hands filled with the proper tools to make them able to war, to win, to deliver, and set free captives. Some will have a marketplace skillset with wisdom and gifts in acquiring land resources. There will be those who will train and prepare a people with prayer, valor and truth as weapons of righteousness that will be willing to pay the price and count up the cost. They will all stand together unified, alert, and ready to implement strategies that they have gathered in precious time of prayer, watching, and fasting.  (2 Corinthians 11: 26-28) With willing hearts to command the day with Godly fear and Humility. The question of the day will be: “Who will be ready, who will be prepared, who will gather, move forth and not break rank?” “Will they heed the call of this hour to advance, take new ground in the realm of the spirit and occupy new territories spiritually?”

The determining factors will be, how to overcome the obstacles of old forms of legalism, the lies of the enemy and replace dogma which was based on deception; never to be used as a foundation in the first place. It will be a time of exposing and dismantling those faulty foundations so that the rebuilding process can go on at the same time. The setting in place will be according to the patterns of the Lord’s word.  There will be a uprooting of false doctrines and concepts the are not biblical or are not being breathed by the Spirit of God’s words.

There will be a change of raiment, I had two vivid dreams concerning this:

​

1. I had a vision while in deep intercession I saw dry bones in heaps that quickly came together (I could see this in the distance). As they walked their flesh came upon them, then as they began to march, I saw what they were wearing appeared unusual. As they came closer I realized they were wearing priestly garments complete with ephods. Their march carried a sound as did their movements.

2. In the next dream I saw garments of all colors. The Lord said, “There will be a gathering, a shifting, an exchanging of garments amongst My people in this hour.” The garments that (I saw) represented callings along with specific assignments and key positioning.

• Gathering of garments: Had to do with His people coming together and unifying so that divine purposes could be accomplished.

• Shifting of garments: Had to do with carrying out certain task and moving up in rank (new places of elevation in Him.)

• Exchanging of garments representing those who would first complete their previous assignment and after completion they would exchange for the new assignment. There would be a passing on of the previous garment to the next one who was now ready to be reassigned as they walk into their next.

 

As I continued to pray into this, the Lord showed me the following scripture.

Matthew 11:7 (KJV)

“And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, what went ye out to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold they that wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses. But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.”

​

The garment of John the Baptist was not what some expected, but it represented more than just clothing, it was His assignment as forerunner. The raiment of the forerunner spiritually will be distinctive according to the Lord’s mandate. Jesus said he was more than a prophet. He was set apart for the coming movement.   

​

These forerunners will navigate through some troubled murky waters. Working with those who others have forgotten or refused to reach out to and work with.  They will help them work through hardships learning key life lessons. They will carry a heart that will not be intimidated while carrying the light and power of truth. Breaking the people of God out of old patterns to move forward into the great possibilities of the day. So that which has held them back and kept them stuck will catapult them into even greater realities of truth. The awesome power of the Holy Ghost will be the breath of this movement with those who will labor together not as individuals but as unified partakers of Christ having His heart and walking in His glory. Within this movement we will see even a people of color who will raise the bar with integrity as they move forth with a powerful anointing to unify and make a mark in this hour.

There will be a sound that will shake many out of places of darkness as my light will help them find their way. The Lord is calling us to stand alert that we may be the fulfillment of that which is approaching. Being joined together by the distinctions of His word of truth with hearts knitted by those who are ready to touch lives with compassion. Many will come out of old tattered garments even grave clothes to be washed, and cleansed by the power of the plain truth given in humility.
